How to Know When Google Recognizes Your Blog
It has been written that it takes months to get a web site indexed into the search engines and I would have to say that is true, if you know what you are doing. What I mean about that is by using your keywords in your blog and having the plugin All in One SEO might be enough, but there are a few other things you can do to get Google’s eyes on you a little faster.
One is ping your posts to all of these sites. Just copy and paste these services into the settings of the writing in your blog. While you are in the admin areas find settings. In the drop down menu locate writing. Open that and at the bottom of the page you will see update services. That is where you want to put all these services

This will help syndicate your blog over the internet.
Also make sure you have feed burner plugin installed. There are many services that will pull your feed automatically and syndicate your blog too. Your RSS feed is very important and it is a tool for you to utilize to promote your blog.
So how do you know when Google has your blog indexed?
I use Google Alerts. Google alerts is a tool that will allow you to follow topics through keywords. So if you have your Blog set up and on topic you can watch through Google alerts if your post was recognized and sent out on Google alerts. Google alerts will send out an email to you anytime the keywords you choose, a topic of interest and you will see not only your blog posts but all things going on throughout the web on that topic. If the web site is indexed through Google it will show up. I like the alerts because it will show you what everyone is talking about. Amazing enough you will not see any of the Social Networks show up on the alerts. Only Web sites, forums and blogs usually show up in Google Alerts. I find myself going to a lot of the sites that show on a topic that I am following. It allows me to make a response or comment on the site too. It is a good way to network with people who have a like interest. This practice will help build links to your site and stimulate conversation too. Don’t forget to share a site if you really like what they have to say, just another good practice.
There is one more key to this and it is called Google Analytics. Make sure to register your site with them. This alone will hook you up into the index even faster so when you make a post, it is going out to be seen. Also make sure you give Google a map of your site. This is an important thing to do to have your site indexed even faster. Google loves content and pages so take advantage of it and always try to point your pages to one another one way or another and always to home.
That is about it for today and this post is leading me into the next post on all the things you can do with your branded blog and how to map other creations by piggy backing one blog to another creating a web map. Please look forward to a discovery I have found.
