If  the change was what was in my front pocket I am sure anyone to most everyone would accept my change. But what about the change we are facing these days?

I believe that the changes we are facing may not be what we want or what we think we deserve. It appears to me that most Americans look at the deserving side and not the giving. My point is with people who are on some sort of government aid and receiving a check, either by deserving or more than likely qualified for the benefit.

The people that receive these moneys are stuck and would not know how to survive without that steady monthly income. As I sit at home with little to no work it has even become hard to get a cash job doing odds and ends as some of these people who are disabled are working the cash jobs. I don’t blame them but they are getting the best of all the worlds and do not claim any of it except the government check. They get health care benefit and are classified in poverty at the same time.

Is this a good path to take? Is it that easy to get a life time of free money for saying I can’t work because of some disability like I am stark raving mad? There are people who say they are crazy and get a free ride. Alcoholics get food stamps so they will eat while they trade the food for money or their drug. This happens, I am not saying it is true for everyone, but for the better part I believe it is.

So where do we change? Are we really ready to sacrifice our comfort zones for maybe something better, or worse. It is all a speculation as to which way we may go. If we follow the wrong way we are doomed for more sacrifice until we get it right. We believe in our elected officials to steer us in the right direction and keep us afloat.

We are indeed in days of change and it will take a majority of people to band together and unite on simple solutions that will have a major impact on our lives as our nation and neighbors will need and will have to depend on one another to get through the change. We will survive and some will prosper.

As the rich get richer the poor get poorer. An old saying but it appears to be a natural law and a fundamental. I hope everyone understands that the rich need the poor. Who else is going to clean it up and take it out? Not the guy in the suit with the money!

As far as I can see wages for the average have not increased in the last 20 years to the levels of the suit. As CEO’s and Congressmen can put their hand out and watch it get waxed for just being there is absolute BS, but it is what happens. DO you think it will ever stop? No! That is one thing that will not change.

As we are compromised through legislation and laws we will always be under the change of what the money wants from us. People will decide but act like money did it, not a human. As businesses have more importance in its life more than a human we have truly been compromised by the fear of what money can do to us. We know that if you do not have enough money you can not defend yourself in a court of law. And if you are going up against one of these entities that are not human you will not have the recourses to even throw the first punch. Do you think that is right? Do you think that money should rule mans decisions or should we continue to allow money to rule us through man made entities?

To Many Irons in the Pit

I believe any person that wants to get something done and done all the way has to focus on one thing at a time. I can tell you that when I try to tackle too many things at one time, one of them is going to fail, but shouldn’t have.

I have found by concentrating on one project, one theme, one topic at a time I can give it my all. But I don’t want to be ADD and get over whelmed by everything that needs to have my attention and of others. If I do not at least give my full attention to one thing at a time I am going to loose so much time and valuable energy.

This day and age it is very easy to get distracted and off focus to what needs to be accomplished. The flood of information can do this easily. You have to learn the skill of what to digest and digest it quickly.

The days are changing faster than anyone can keep up with and as I watch I am seeing what too much information can do. It is a major distraction and can easily take you off your focus. I am not saying that you won’t come back to it but still that energy was stolen by the distraction.

Example, I believe our governments are distracted right now with more fires than they can handle while trying to be the good fire fighter and save everyone. I wish them luck but until they choose something to accomplish I do not believe they will accomplish anything in the matter of time that the subject needs. With each week to every month a new fire is popping up that needs attention while the old problem slips under the rug. I want everyone to know that we are still at war and I have no idea who with…do you?

The point is to keep focus and win, it is everything. To keep your vision in front of you and always reminding yourself as to why you are doing what you are doing. Front row is better than the back row, do you agree? So unless you have a team of people you can delegate the problem to handle like the President of the United States, only tackle one thing at a time. Get good at it, become an expert and prosper from it.

April 15^th, Extension Day!

For most of us April 15^th stands for the day taxes are due to the State and Federal on your income or profits. As I see it Profits and Income are two different birds and need to be revamped as one is to survive and one is to get rich. I don’t believe we should be taxed on our income that we use to rent from the person profiting off an investment. Big difference but they are both taxed and lumped into the same category on the tax form to come up with your Gross Income.

As a business owner I have to say that this is the worst year I have had for profits. In matter of fact I have ate into my savings this year to keep my business alive in the hopes that the good ole days will return, and soon! But most business owners will file an extension today to keep from paying for last year. It is a delay and it is abused for those who do not have their business in order. The business does not know on today what monies they made last year 4 months into this year.

I file my taxes every year on the same day, April 14^th so I can go golfing on the 15^th. I refuse to work on the day I pay my taxes. As a Small business owner I do not get the breaks that most do. I do not qualify for all sorts of Government aid and programs because I chose to be in business. There is no unemployment, there are no food stamps, there is no Medicare or Medicare. There is nothing and if you do not show income from your business there is no loan.

I wonder how much the Governments are going to get this year compared to five years ago when all the financial ruin started. As I write this today Carl Levin is heading up a sub-committee to find out what happened to the financial world and as I read his opening statement I pondered to realize that we let the banks do it to us again as they have done in the past and that the knowledge that they will really learn is the same banks got us again as they did in the first depression as we are in a second one and far from out of it.

As Unemployment in its third tear begins to run out this June I am in fear what we are going to see next as we make believe that the manufacturing jobs are going to return. Keep on hoping that we will see the day that the wage is keeping up with inflation and the poverty level. I personally have not seen the wage go up in thirty years. People still offer me $10 hour jobs.

So today is the big tax day and most file for an extension and as an American Citizen I have paid mine in full and am damn proud of it, even if I made one quarter of what I made five years ago. I am still here and alive, getting by and supporting a system with money that I will never see benefits from because I am self employed.

Evergreen means something that will always be searched for and will always have a demand, a need for. Evergreen means that your customers will never end and you will always have a constant stream of new clients. Businesses like these are everywhere or should I say products. 
The two key elements in a business, one the product and two the customer. Without either one you do not have a business.

The idea here is to remove you and only concentrate on those two elements. You are not the business, you are only the driver picking up customers and delivering them to their destination. You are the conduit that protects and delivers as promised, that’s all.
Picking a product to sell is as easy as 1 2 3 these days and affiliate network sites that make it possible for Creators and Developers to meet sales people to promote their products. Some are good and some are bad and you do have to know what you are doing to sell these type of products, that is for sure. It is not as easy as 1 2 3.
Evergreen products are at these affiliate sites but they are not easy to find, at least the ones that convert well and have been around for some years. The owner may pull the product to at any given time once they meet their goals. Membership type products that have been around for a while are a good bet. Treat it like the stock market, you are in it for the long haul, you just have to pick a winner and sell two a month to get yours free. Sounds like a good deal doesn’t it?
Other evergreen products are called consumable goods. You know real products you use everyday. Like gasoline, toilet paper, food, tooth paste, laundry soap, dish soap, bath soaps and shampoo. You need to eat, right? You need to make money, right? We all do and the numbers just keep going up and up. Have you noticed what a loaf of bread cost? You know you can still make bread, right? It is way cheaper and it doesn’t have all the added stuff. So why don’t you make your own bread?

Let me guess, you don’t know how! Or, you don’t have the time. Doesn’t it make sense, a lot of cents if you were to make your own bread and save money, but not time. Is anyone listening to you? Are you heard? How loud do you have to be to be heard? Is what you are saying worth being heard?

I find it amazing how people connect on certain issues and just don’t give a rat’s ass about something that appears to be important but they just don’t understand it. So they brush it under the table because they don’t know anything truly about the subject and it is over their head or it is just not popular to talk about.

Shoot I have found myself doing the same thing as everyone else and there is nothing wrong with it. If it was uncomfortable to talk about issues because nobody could agree so it became easier to talk about sport politics. The weather and what was on sale at the store. To talk about reality was taboo because any ways, who the heck are you?

I was painted a picture that everyone deserved to prosper and be happy. That anything is possible and we all have rights to equality, happiness and prosperity. But for some reason or another that picture doesn’t seem to be true. The three bedroom house, two car garage with a wrap around porch appears to be out of reach for most folks these days as we transform from ownership to renter-ship.

Let me ask a question. If we were to re-write the constitution today what do you think it would read like? How long do you think it would take to pass with debate and justice? I don’t think it could be done and that is how complex we have become as we have shredded the basic elements of our constitution to meet our needs. Have we been miss-lead?

As I see it. Every one of us has a voice. You may not realize it but it is only in two areas and it is only when you are with your piers. When you are sitting on a jury you have a voice, majority rules. The other is when you are on a winning petition that is forced into legislation by the actions of a majority of people signing it and making it a recognized issue that everyone wants to see change or accomplished..

A true example of this form of way to change something has happened in a few states and has gone against the federal governments tolerances towards it. In matter of fact a lot of money and effort to enforce their policies has been spent. These states people decided through a petition that it was time for a change and voted in Marijuana, a known killer to man kind ( all the Hype we were feed) to be used for Medical Relief of Pain and Suffering.

Isn’t it amazing how people band together for a like minded cause that obviously was changed through a detailed process that our for fathers designed for the people to take control and change laws or make laws as seen fit by the majority. To me this is the new age of our government. And it will be due to the internet and information that will force us further into this new age. New leaders will emerge as new voices will be heard, people around the globe will bring their two cents in and collective thought change will emerge through the social networks. New cities are being designed through the virtual world as more people collect in one space like never before. The new leaders will emerge from this as technology will allow the majority of voices to be heard again and in unity.

Could you imagine a day when a fan page at Face Book has the power with in a week to gather enough signatures to change the course of history?

We just have not marketed in a way to teach people with so many qualified registered voters’ signatures we can change anything we want. We can fire anyone we want and we can do it over night with the stroke of a pen by all that unite for the change. It really is that simple to change things. We just need to find a way through marketing to get the word out and educate people about due process.

I truly believe that we as the people of the United States are ready and willing to accept the knowledge and tools that are available for us to connect and act wisely as a whole. I do believe that we are in an informational age now and we will be moving rather fast as our knowledge increases at a rate that we are having a tough time keeping up with today. We are gathering more information than ever before and can get answers to questions that much faster. Alone with this increase and the popularity of the social media taking place where people know what is going on at a moments notice we are preparing for a huge shift in thought and creativity.

As soon as we unite on like minded issues that we can all agree upon in a collective like minded space only then will we take control and make sure everyone has a voice in the unity of such actions to better the lives of man kind. I surly did not ask for this and wish I was not writing about it, but here I am. Now what?

I can remember the year 1992 when Ross Perot was running for President of the United States. As a business man and scholar who had a vision and an understanding of common sense he shared a lot of unpleasant facts. He was a man with integrity and was saying things that went against the grain but had truth in what he was envisioning the future to be as he saw it if we continued on the path we were on.

As the elections grew Ross Perot had divided the popular vote and swayed over a third of the country into action. We believed in him and every honest working class citizens from sea to shinning sea was voting for him. I did not know anyone who wasn’t. After he lost I called everyone I knew to confirm who they voted for. I called my relatives, my friends, my colleagues, everyone and they all voted for him. So how did he loose? My pools said he should have won by a landslide. In the past we were divided on who we voted for.

That was the day I became very skeptical over the government as a young man raising a family of  5 and paying taxes out of my ass with no real benefits of having a family on a just above poverty line set by the IRS. We struggled then and we struggle today. But Ross saw the writing on the wall and predicted everything that is happening to us today.

Some way some how we let the truth to be denied and the status quo to go on and here we are today. The bank bailout relieved our cost of the fuel we demand. I don’t know about you, but the first thing I saw change after the bank bailout was gas prices changing overnight from almost 5 bucks a gallon to 2 bucks a gallon. I have not seen any changes since. Have you? Oh, and as far as that gas price goes, get ready, the bill for the loan is coming soon.

Well, today is the day. Ross told us, we let his wisdom and advice go to waste and here we are. Are we in a dire straight? You bet we are. Are we heading to shore with a broken rudder? You bet we are. And it is so complex that there is no real solution but to watch things run the course. Or do we? We have a choice and we better make it or someone else will, one more time. They will take those dreams away that you deserve. Take away the opportunities for you to grow, be happy and prosper. Take away the given right as a person to choose what is best for you and your neighbor. Soon you will have no choice and you will have to do exactly what is expected of you and then you will understand what it is like not to have a choice or the opportunity to practice the freedom to express and be  the great things that you are meant to be.

It is time to fix what is broken because it is not working anymore. I challenge GREAT MINDS TO COME OUT. The engineers, the scientists, the teachers, the CEO’s, the professors, the philosophers to help answer some of the questions on what they think is broke and a solution to fix it. With so many broken cogs we shouldn’t run out of topics and solutions. It is a day of unity and creativity to solve tomorrow’s problems we face.

I have questions and maybe you can help me out by leaving a comment. I myself am seeing and can feel something coming. What I am feeling is a change has to happen, what about you?

The economy is changing.
The wealth disappeared in our assets.
Unemployment is up and rising.
Large companies are closing their doors.
Jobs are scarce.
Industrial manufacturing are gone and moved.

To me this is a state of bad affairs we are in.
I believe people are going to be looking.
Looking hard to find something to replace what they lost.
Looking to keep what they have.

Well times are changing and I think they are going to
change faster than we want. There is some good news.

Let’s look at what has been a positive through the negative.
Maybe that will give a hint as to what is in our futures.

There is a green trend happening and I believe it will be
Here for awhile. Green products like Wind Generators,
Electric cars and Solar Energy to name a few. We are also
thinking green in organics as we are eating better these
days.

We have realized that we have been participants in
supporting things that were Killing us and making us
sick or we would not be changing our thinking and habits.
We are more aware today by the masses than we ever have.

Most these things have been known for so long but we were
lied to by so many businesses making a dollar and we trusted
them thinking they were telling us the truth about their
products.

Let’s just use Petroleum Products as an example. Here is a
Simple yes no question because I know you have an opinion
Or knowledge of Petroleum. Is the stuff safe for you and
our environment?

I know you have read reports and have heard, and how we are
dependent on it like a drug. We will justify it’s existence due
to our needs and how business wants us to use it.
Let’s face it, we have been lied to and the lie is still alive.

It is time to change and change starts at the bottom,
obviously if we think it is going to come from the top I
think we will be waiting a bit longer than we can hold on.

We started changing our home last year and also recognized
the business opportunities too. This year, 2010, is a year of
change, change that will set a tone for the next ten.
New leaders are going to start emerging and new companies.
Please keep your eye on this area of change and find your spot
 in it. It could make the difference in your future.

Businesses are in a change too and realize they need a bigger
market share. They are going to be turning to the internet in
big numbers. The question will be do we keep following and
supporting businesses that have lied to us all these years
selling products to us that were not healthy for us or our planet.

The purpose of this letter is to raise awareness and our own
 personal responsibilities to this change. If we go on with the
 status quo and wait for our neighbor or until someone tells
 me I have to, it will be to late and we will be a dollar short too.

I want to be honest right Here! I want to share more with you about things you can do right now to help change this world as a consumer. Let me perfectly clear. A business is not a business with out the customer/consumer. We are the jury! We decide what succeds and what fails. We buy products and support businesses through our purchases, period. If you support products that are not healthy for you and me the business will want to sell it to us again and again. Stop the madness and stop supporting with your desicions of buying crap, thats it.

Start asking the question, what is it that I am buying? Ask someone or just google your question and get an opinion. Just maybe you might find out something and or make a better choice. As consumers we use many things. It stands true today as it did in the past as humans we need shelter, food and clothing to survive. Everything else is a luxury of  life. The next important things we need is soap to clean pots and pans, to wash our body, to clean our cloths and to wash our hands so we don’t get sick. The next thing we need is health care, there has always been a doctor or care taker in a community. But those things are the basics of our needs to keep us living and to stay alive. Oh I forgot clean water, oops that is a big one. Did you know that 60% of the world does not have clean drinking water?

It is time for a change! I have chosen is to change my habits first in my own environment. I removed all my household cleaners, all of them. I found out that they are not really to healthy for me. I replaced them with Eco Safe products that can not harm me or my environment. After learning it was a no brain-er to get rid of the toxic chemicals in my own home. I did! I am Glad I did. Because the cleaners I use now actually work better and cost me less. Another No Brain-er!
